In the past few years, the ukulele (it’s official pronunciation is ooh-koo-leh-leh) has gained in popularity.
Lots of people have bought an ukulele, they’re getting an ukulele, or they’re getting ANOTHER ukulele, they’ve been on an ukulele cruise (yes, a cruise!) or all of the above AND they’re in an ukulele class/group/festival!
What IS this ukulele lark all about and why do people seem to get obsessed when they start learning it?
The answer is simple my friend… the ukulele is FUUUUNNNNNNN!

It’s also the MOST forgiving instrument.
It’s so forgiving, it ought to be sainted!

The little ukulele always brings a smile to people’s faces and you’ll be part of a happy, global tribe of enthusiasts.
It has a sound that makes you feel like you’re on a white, sandy beach surrounded by palm trees, smothered from head to toe in Hawaiian Tropic and holding a chilled Tequila Sunrise in your hand!
Take your ukulele to a party and, with just a couple of chords and a few well-chosen songs you’ll have the place rockin’, yo!
They range from quite cheap for a second-hand one to hundreds or even thousands of (insert your local currency here) for a beautiful, bespoke, custom-made instrument.
